Karni Sena organization was formed in 2006 it’s first president was Ajit Singh Mandoli the main aim of this organization was securing Rajput Reservation and Encouraging Rajput Legislatures in the government. In 2010, Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi was appointed as the state president of Sri Rajput Karni Sena (SRKS) However, Gogamedi was removed from the organization due to some criminal charges in 2015. On the other hand, Gogamedi established his organization named Shree Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena (SRRKS) and in 2017 he became a cult figure in front of the Rajputs because he encountered Indian gangster Anand Pal Singh who wanted to damage Rajput rally.
In 2017, the Shree Rajput Karni Sena organization made protection against the Padmavati movie which was directed by ‘Sanjay Leela Bhansali’ in 2018 because the Rajput community was against the featured romance scenes between the Chittor Queen Padmini and Alauddin Khilji and Bollywood movies ‘Veer’ in 2010 and ‘Jodha Akhbar’ in 2013.
This organization made demand in front of the state government to increase EWS reservations from 10% to 14%.
Death
On 5th December 2023, Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi was shot in the living room of his house in Pink City’s Shyam Nagar area, Jaipur. Four people entered a Sukhdev House and opened fire resulting in the injury of security personnel and Gogamedi was shot five times one of the bullets pumped his head The entire incident was captured on CCTV. After the death of Sukhdev Singh a heavy protest was seen by the Rajput community and the family members of Sukhdev for the assassinators’ arrest.[1]
Who kill Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi
After the attack, gangster Rohit Godara Kapurisar took responsibility for the murder of Gogamedi through a Facebook post. According to a post Gogamedi killed because he supported the enemies of Rohit Godara Kapurisar. Rohit Godara is linked with Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar gang. They were also involved in the killing of the famous Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala.[1]
