Sapthami Gowda was born on 8 June 1996 (26 years old) in Bengaluru. She Did her schooling at Baldwin Girls High School, Bengaluru after completing her schooling, she pursued a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from Bangalore Institute of Technology.
Sapthami Father’s name is Umesh Sk Doddi he is a police officer and in 2015 he was awarded the President Police Medal for Meritorious Service her Mother’s name is Shantha Madaiah (Homemaker) and she also has a younger sister named Uthare Gowda (professional swimmer).
She currently lives in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

In 2020, sapthami made her acting debut with the Kannada movie ‘Popcorn Monkey Tiger’ directed by Duniya Suri after that she played the role of Leela in the movie Kantara which was a blockbuster and her performance was admired which came her into the limelight and was praised.
In 2023, she made her Bollywood debut with the movie ‘The Vaccine War’ directed by Vivek Agnihotri. After her two hit movies she performed in many movies like ‘Yuva’ directed by Santhosh Ananddram , ‘Kantara-2‘, and ‘Kalli’ directed by S.Krishna.
Being an actor, Sapthami Gowda is a swimmer. she played swimming at an early age and won various state and national level swimming competitions and won a gold medal at the Indian Triathlon Federation, Indore.
Karnataka Government appointed Sapthami Gowda as the ambassador of the ”Nanna Maithri” scheme which distributes menstrual cups to adolescent girls across Karnataka and she was also appointed as Brand Ambassador for T-20 3rd World Cup edition of the Blind Cricket 2022 organized by the Samarthanam Trust for the blind.
