Randeep Hooda was born on 20 August 1976 (48 years old as of 2024) in Jassai village, Rohtak, Haryana. He completed his: at Motilal Nehru School of Sports Haryana And after that he pursued his graduation from Delhi University. Therefore he pursued a Master in business management and human resources development in Melbourne Australia. He belongs to the Hindu Jat family.
Randeep Hooda’s father’s name is Dr. Ranbir Hooda (medical surgeon and professor) and his mother’s name is Asha Hooda (social worker and politician) he has an elder sister and younger brother Anjali Hooda Sangwan is an Indian doctor practicing in the USA and Sandeep Hooda work as software engineer respectively.
Career
Since the beginning of his career Randeep was associated with the Indian theater Group ‘Motley Theater Troupe’ which was owned by Naseeruddin Shah and Pradeep played many roles in play like ‘Kali Shalwar or Kachchh Khaniya’ and ‘The Man’.
In 2001, Randeep started his career with a Hindi film “Monsoon Wedding” in which he played the role of Rahul Chadha.
In 2005, he acted in the film ‘D’ as the male lead in Ram Gopal Varma and he almost waited 4 years for this movie.
From 2006 to 09 he appeared in many flop movies including Daran Zaroori Hai (2006), Risk (2007), Ru Ba Ru (2008), and Love Khichdi (2009).
In 2010, and then he came into the limelight with the film Once Upon a Time in Mumbai in which he played the character of Acp Agnel Wilson.
From 2011 to 2015, he appeared in many popular Hindi films like Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster, Jannat 2, Highway, Kick and Main Aur Charles.
In 2020, he made his Bollywood debut with the film ‘Extraction’ with the famous Hollywood actor Chris Hemsworth and he played the role of Saju Rav.
In 2022, he appeared in the role of the Indian Freedom Fighter ‘Vinayak Damodar Savarkar’ in the film Swatantra Veer Savarkar.
